Reseller field guide

How to become an IPTV reseller without guessing

Start with the numbers, the customer work and the rules you can verify. A panel is useful only when you understand what each credit buys and how you will support the accounts you sell.

An IPTV reseller buys prepaid credits, uses a reseller panel to create or extend customer access, and chooses a retail price. The supplier operates the service infrastructure. The reseller owns the customer relationship, explains setup and handles first-line support.

Start with a small, testable operating plan

  1. Choose a credit pack based on current demand. GoldenOTT offers 10 credits for $160, 50 for $700 and 100 for $1,300.
  2. Know the account cost. In the approved GoldenOTT model, a 1-year account uses 1 credit and a 2-year account uses 2 credits.
  3. Set a retail price that covers more than the credit. Allow for payment fees, exchange rates, marketing, refunds, taxes and the time you spend on support.
  4. Document every sale. Save the customer, package, payment verification, username and expiration date. Do not treat a screenshot as proof that funds arrived.
  5. Plan renewals before launch. Track expiration dates and contact customers only through permitted channels.

What you need before your first customer

A clear offer. State the duration, device method and total price without unverified channel counts or performance promises.

A support boundary. Decide what you can handle yourself and when you need supplier support.

A customer record. Keep only the data required for setup, service and renewal. Protect credentials.

A cash buffer. Credits are prepaid inventory. Do not buy a large pack only because the unit cost is lower.

USA and Canada: practical marketing rules

North American buyers expect clear pricing and direct answers. In the United States, the FTC says advertising must be truthful, non-deceptive and supported. In Canada, the Competition Bureau applies a general-impression test and specifically addresses false urgency, misleading price claims and unsupported performance claims.

This is general business guidance, not legal advice. Confirm the laws, taxes, licensing and content-distribution rights that apply to your market before selling.

Which GoldenOTT reseller package fits?

10 credits$160$16Testing the workflow with limited inventory
50 credits$700$14A reseller with repeat customer demand
100 credits$1,300$13An established operation with proven sales volume

The unit calculation uses the public package total divided by the credit quantity. It does not include other business costs or guarantee a margin.

  • Do credits expire, and where are the current terms recorded?
  • Which delivery methods match the devices your customers use?
  • Who handles service incidents and credential problems?
